Civil / commercial mediation

Our panel mediators deal with a broad range of civil and commercial disputes, large and small. They come from a variety of backgrounds, including law, business, IT, human resources, arts and finance.

Mediators generally take the view that it is not necessary for your mediator to be a lawyer, still less an expert in a particular area of law. Our mediators are specialists in the art of mediation, which involves the dynamics of how people act and react in disputes, whatever the subject-matter.

We can however provide specialists in particular fields where required, perhaps to ensure that the mediator and the parties or their lawyers are speaking the same language, as it were, or where the mediator’s familiarity with a particular industry might be helpful.
